Associate Attorney Ayleen Lay joined Brown Immigration Law in 2023, and works on a large variety of immigration cases, including removal defense, family-based immigration, immigrant and non-immigrant visas, employment-based immigration, and naturalization.
Ayleen is admitted to practice law in the State of Florida. Ayleen received her Juris Doctorate from Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law, Barry University, in Orlando, Florida, in May of 2015. She graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Language and Studies in 2010.
During law school, Ayleen was admitted into the Immigration Law Clinic at Barry University, where she gained first-hand experience in the field of immigration law. This experience led her to be accepted into the Department of Homeland Security’s externship program as a Supreme Court Certified Legal Intern, working with the ICE-Office of Chief Counsel in Orlando, Florida. After graduating from law school, Ayleen worked for various immigration law practices in the Orlando, Florida metro area, representing clients in cases involving family-based immigration, naturalization, waivers, and employment-based immigration.
Ayleen is originally from Cuba and speaks English and Spanish fluently. Ayleen enjoys giving back to the community by volunteering her services at legal clinics.
Having been through the immigration process herself, Ayleen is passionate about helping people navigate the increasingly complex U.S. immigration system.
